Sinner, who was playing in his first event since the Australian Open, will enter the French Open as the top seed. The 23-year-old owns three Major titles and is the reigning champion in Australia and the US Open.
The world No. 1 showed promising signs of hitting his top level during the Rome event, defeating recent Madrid Open winner Casper Ruud 6-0, 6-1 in the quarterfinals.
