“Early feedback on the 2025 Paris Edition Saber design has been incredible and I expect it to be one of the fastest selling editions over the past three years.” said Fabio Molle, Founder of the Functional Tennis Saber. “If you are a competitive tennis player of any age or level, the Saber is for you and is an integral part of warmups for top players from the juniors to the pros around the world.”

One of tennis’ best kept secrets, top ten ATP and WTA players have been spotted using the Saber during their training sessions including Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, and Stan Wawrinka. Becoming a go-to for serious players who want to level up their game fast, the Saber is trusted by thousands of players and coaches worldwide including those with the USTA, Rafa Nadel Tennis Academy, Tennis Australia and more.

With its uniquely sized racket head, the Saber is a revolutionary training tool designed to sharpen precision and help players become more consistent while improving their footwork and focus. Amassing over 1 million followers Instagram, some of the Saber’s key features include:

  • Feel:  the Saber offers a unique and precise feel that enhances the player’s connection to the racket and their strokes.
  • Improvement: the Saber significantly improves player’s skills, particularly their control and accuracy.
  • Contact Point: The Saber helps players focus on their contact point, leading to cleaner and more consistent shots.
  • Consistency: the Saber is an excellent tool for building consistency in various areas of the player’s game while boosting confidence
  • Confidence: Players improve faster with the Saber, and it sticks

Developed by Fabio Molle, the Saber offers an evolution of an aid he first started selling in 2018: a wooden spoon sold as the “tennis pointer.”  Through design iterations and research and development, Molle created his first prototype for the Saber in the spring of 2021 and brought it to the market in 2022. The Saber is now part of a growing suite of Functional Tennis training tools designed for players who want to train smarter, not just harder.

Throughout the year, Functional Tennis releases other limited-edition Sabers including a stealth black prototype-style model and custom color drops. These highly sought-after runs often sell out in days, adding an element of exclusivity to a tool already trusted by thousands of players and coaches worldwide.
