Auger-Aliassime Advances to 2025 BOSS Open Quarterfinals
Thursday’s ATP Tour and WTA Results
Thursday’s action at the BOSS Open in Stuttgart, Germany saw No. 4 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime reach the quarterfinals of the event, defeating Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard from France, 7-6(4), 7-5.
Winning 89 percent of his first serve points, Auger-Aliassime will next face 17-year-old Justin Engel from Germany for a place in the semifinals.
Engel, ranked No. 281 in the world, defeated No. 7 seed Alex Michelsen 6-4, 6-4 in one hour and 17 minutes.
Other matches on the day saw top seed Alexander Zverev advance 6-2, 7-6(7) over Corentin Moutet.
The day’s last match will see No. 6 seed Brandan Nakashima take on countryman Learner Tien from the United States.
On Friday, No. 4 seed Taylor Fritz returns to competition to take on Marton Fucsovics from Hungry.

Libema Open—Netherlands
Thursday’s action at the Libema Open in the Netherlands saw No. Ugo Humbert, Reilly Opelka, and Mark Lajal reach the quarterfinals.
Humbert ousted Dan Evans in straight sets, Opelka defeated Nicolas Jarry 7-6(3), 6-3, and Lajal advanced when No. 5 seed Hubert Hurkacz couldn’t take the court due to injury.
Top seed Daniil Medvedev will be in action later today against grass-court specialist Adrian Mannarino.
On the ladies side, former US Open winner Bianca Andresscu defeated No. 7 seed Lulu Sun 6-0, 6-4, and will next face Elena-Gabriela Ruse. Ruse defeated Andreescu’s good friend Carson Branstine from Canada 6-4, 6-3.
Other winners on the day saw No. 3 seed Elise Mertens and Suzan Lamens move into the final eight.

The HSBC Championship—London—Great Britain
No. 4 seed and former Wimbledon winner Elena Rybakina advanced to the quarterfinals of the Queen’s Club event in London, England on Thursday, dismissing Heather Watson from Great Britain 6-4, 6-2.
Using her serve to great effect, Rybakina hit nine aces during the one hour and 22 minute contest.
Other winners on the day saw No. 5 seed Diana Shnaider dispatch local favourite Katie Boulter 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Former US Open champion Emma Raducanu will be in action later today against Rebecca Sramkova from Slovakia.
