Who are the Major Sponsors of Tennis in 2025?
Tennis is one of the most watched sports in the world, particularly when it comes to the Grand Slams, so it’s no wonder that for decades brands have been lining up to be associated with it.
From the All England Lawn Tennis Club to the Davis Cup and even all the top stars, sponsorship is rife, but who are the brands supporting the game we all love in 2025?
Sponsorship across Tennis tournaments
When it comes to the tournaments itself, some things have changed in recent years and others have remained pretty consistent. However, there are only two brands that sponsor all four Grand Slams, those being Emirates and Rolex. In fact, the luxury watchmaker has been a partner of Wimbledon since 1978!
It’s been a match made in heaven for many years, while Lavazza and Polo Ralph Lauren sponsor three Grand Slams and several sponsor two, including American Express, IBM, Aperol and Stella Artois.
Alcohol brands and beverages do lead the way when it comes to Grand Slam sponsorships, with a total of 25 different brands having an association with a major tournament.
Number of Grand Slam partnerships per industry:
- Beverages: 25
- Finance: 9
- Sporting goods: 6
- Fashion: 5
- Tourism: 5
- Airline: 4
- Automotive: 4
- IT: 4
- Watches: 3
- Personal care: 3
Interestingly, outside of the Grand Slams we’re starting to see a growing trend of wagering brands partnering with the tournament. Given its success in other sports, where hundreds of brands sponsor the likes of soccer teams and tournaments, that influence is making its way into the likes of the Davis Cup and other tournaments too.
Today, with so many respected wagering brands around, big deals are being announced, and it’s likely we’ll see more of it in the future too, both with casinos and affiliate and review sites. The team at Slotsjudge put together a full casino ranking list and many features already have deals with sports teams and tournaments, with tennis now a new route for them.
Novak Djokovic has spoken about tennis’ relationship with gambling, stating that 95% of players would have wagering sponsors on their sleeves (something which currently isn’t allowed) and that they “deserve to have 50 per cent of the share that the tournament gets from these sponsorship deals with wagering houses.”
What does the future hold?
With the heft of Novak, the co-founder of the Professional Tennis Players Association, it’s likely tennis may begin to open up wagering sponsors, while also continuing its relationship with the more luxury brands out there.
It’s certainly something to keep an eye on, while we may also see the sport follow in the footsteps of other sports and welcome the likes of cryptocurrency partners too. The ATP Tour for 2025 has already welcomed Bitpanda into its fold, while it’s something players could already benefit from.
One thing’s for sure, with tennis bigger than ever, the Grand Slams will certainly be wanting to find new ways to prosper, and alongside your Rolex’s, Emirates’ and Ralph Lauren’s, we could see casinos and crypto partners too!
