French Open 2017: Men’s and Women’s Singles Draws

Get ready for two weeks of world-class tennis as the 2022 French Open sets to kick off in May 2022. The French Open is a major tennis event held annually at the legendary Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France. The competition is typically held on a clay court and is the only tennis Grand Slam played on this surface. For this year’s edition, the action would commence on Sunday, 22 May, and run through to 5 June 2022. The 2022 French Open will be the second tennis Grand Slam tournament of the year after the 2022 Australian Open, won by none other than Rafael Nadal. If you’d like to wager on any of the competing players, look no further than the leading sports betting sites in Canada. Aside from the bonuses you’ll receive on these sites, you’re also assured of a steady supply of competitive odds across all matches in the tournament.

Here are our predictions on how the tournament will turn out:

2022 French Open Review And Predictions

Rafael Nadal has dominated the French Open for the past 20 years, securing 13 trophies in the process. Interestingly, he won the tournament in 2020 without losing a single set, beating Novak Djokovic. But Djokovic is currently the world’s number one player in men’s tennis and is the winner of last year’s Australian Open. The Serbian maestro is also the reigning champion of the French Open men’s singles, becoming the fourth player to win an impressive four Grand Slams. If things turn out bad for Nadal at the tournament, Djokovic is more likely to come out victorious.

Another likely champion outside Djokovic and Nadal is Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek professional is currently ranked #3 and has an exciting attacking repertoire, especially when playing well.

Finally, we expect Carlos Alcaraz to give the top dogs a serious run. The Spaniard is ranked 11th and is currently enjoying a scorching hot form. Alcaraz has already bagged the Miami Open Masters 1000 and ATP 500 titles this year.
