World No. 15 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga completed a splendid week of action on the hard-courts of the Rexall Center by defeating No. 2 seed Roger Federer 7-5, 7-6(3) capture the Rogers Cup on Sunday. Winning 94 percent of his first serve points, slamming 11 aces and never facing a break point, Tsonga also defeated world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, two-time slam winner Andy Murray and rising Bulgarian star Grigor Dimitrov earlier in the week. Tsonga will return to the top 10 on Monday with his victory. Federer, who was searching for his 80th career title, will next compete at the Cincinnati Masters in Ohio.
