A new year on Tour once again signifies the latest Spring 2015 Nike Tennis collection for the stars of the WTA. Looking to play their best at the Australian Open, the likes of Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Victoria Azarenka and Eugenie Bouchard are all set to launch their newest kits Down Under.
With her eyes set on winning the most Grand Slams in the history of the sport, Serena will look to capture Aussie Open No. 6 when she debuts her Spring Slam Tunic in volt with cyber and turf orange, which can be paired with the Spring Slam Printed Shorty in lava glow (coral) with white (sold separately). This action-packed ensemble features a spaghetti strap and great light-weight fabric for breathability under the sun.
Spending her offseason grinding away on the courts of Los Angeles, Sharapova is fit and ready to make her run at trophy No. 2 in Melbourne. Still boasting her own line, Sharapova’s look in Oz will be highlighted by Spring Maria Oz Preimer Dress (pictured to the right) in daring red with bright peach and volt. This showpiece garment has an elastic mesh strap as the racerback and a cutout at mid-back which provides a sleek look. Paired with a coordinating print ball shortie, this two-in-one dress will be completed with the Zoom Vapor 9.5 in hot pink, pink pow, black and volt.
Former two-time winner Azarenka will be eager to compete in her favorite tournament once again and regain her top 10 form. Known for her swift footwork and aggressive mentality, Azarenka’s kicks in Melbourne will be the Zoom Cage 2 in volt, classic charcoal, white. The Belarussian is also set to wear the Spring Advantage Printed Tank in volt with white, which compliments the Spring Victory Printed Skirt in volt with white.
Quickly becoming one of the most popular players on the circuit, Bouchard will be keen on building on a career year in 2014. Set to rock the Spring Advantage Maria Premier Tank in daring red with white, Eugenie’s speed on court will be magnified in the Zoom Vapor 9.5 in hot pink, pink pow, black and volt. The Canadian’s matching bottom in Australia will be the Spring Maria Premier Skirt in daring red with bright peach.
Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova, Lucie Safarova, Sabine Lisicki, Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci will also donning the latest Spring 2015 collection for Nike Tennis during the Australian Open.
