Reviewing the ASICS Gel Solution Lyte 3 Men’s Tennis Shoe

Continuing to produce innovative, comfortable and durable footwear for World Tour professionals as well as the masses, the all-new ASICS Gel Solution Lyte 3 men’s tennis shoe could very well be the perfect offering for the speed oriented player that’s looking for an affordable court shoe.

First off, the ASICS Gel Solution Lyte 3 requires no break-in period and is true to size. The shoe itself weighs only 11.4 ounces and for those of you that have dabbled with many different brands on the market, you’ll know that anything under 12 ounces for a tennis shoe is ultra light. That said, the performance aspects of the ASICS Gel Solution Lyte 3 really do revolve around its light-weight nature. From the synthetic upper with a no-sew construction, to the rear and forefoot GEL cushioning, the ASICS Gel Solution Lyte 3 will have any player blazing around the court with ease.

Other key features of this model include a SpEVA midsole, which keeps the user locked into the subtle movements of the game. Looking to make an impact when you’re chasing down a drop shot or running to rip a forehand down-the-line? No problem. The ASICS Gel Solution Lyte 3 allows for a secure feel no matter what how difficult a point.

Ventilation throughout the ASICS Gel Solution Lyte 3 is also excellent, featuring perforated mesh holes under the synthetic upper of the shoe, which are place around the forefoot and sides. Finally, the ASICS High Abrasion Rubber is highlighted in a modified herringbone pattern that is suitable for a variety of court surfaces.

Seen in a white, indigo blue and a green gecko colour-way, the ASICS Gel Solution Lyte 3 is the perfect no nonsense shoe that comes in at a great price point of $84.95 US.
