Spanish tennis player Albert Montanes retired from the ATP World Tour following a 6-2, 6-2 loss against countryman Feliciano Lopez in Barcelona, Spain on Wednesday. Ranked as high as No. 22 in the world (2010.08.02), Montanes won six career titles and amassed nearly six million dollars in prize money. The 36-year-old had not played any other main Tour events in 2017.
