Taking home his second career title, Klizan won 71 percent of his first serve points, hit five aces and broke serve on five occasions. Currently ranked No. 111 in the world, Klizan pocketed 77,315 € for his efforts as well as a new BMW.

Unseeded Argentine Carlos Berlocq picked up the biggest win of his career on Sunday in Oeiras, Portugal, dismissing top seed Tomas Berdych 0-6, 7-5, 6-1. In a match that saw Berlocq completely outplayed in the first set, the second set by contrast produced great tennis by the underdog to force a decider. With everything to play for in set three, Berlocq stepped up his return game to break his powerful opponent on four occasions. With his victory, Berlocq moved up to No. 51 in the rankings.
