Mutua Madrid Open—Madrid, Spain

Top seed and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz reached the finals of the Mutua Madrid Open on Friday, defeating reigning Western & Southern Open winner Borna Coric, 6-4, 6-3.

Needing one hour and 41 minutes to advance, Alcaraz will next face Jan-Lennard Struff, who defeated Aslan Karatsev 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Entering as the overwhelming favourite, Alcaraz will be aiming to win his fourth title of the season and 10th overall on Sunday. The now 20-year-old also won the US Open last fall.

As always, Betway will have great tennis odds on the mens’ final on Sunday.

Saturday’s action in Madrid will feature top seed Iga Swiatek taking on No. 2 seed Aryna Sabalenka. The pair met in the recent Stuttgart final, which was won by Swiatek.

Semifinal results:
