The 2016 season is off and running and with it brings an all-new adidas Tennis collection for the Australian Open. Sponsoring the likes of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Simona Halep, Fabio Fognini, Angelique Kerber, Fernando Verdasco, Garbine Muguruza and newly acquired Tomas Berdych and Alexander Zverev, the latest offerings from adidas tennis feature a German Bauhaus art style theme that is highlighted by bold pallets for both the men’s and women’s collections.
Starting off with the men’s line, Tsonga will be outfitted in the men’s barricade range, which is showcased in an aqua-green polo shirt with black bermuda shorts. Tsonga’s footwear Down Under will be the adidas Barricade 2016 Boost (pictured to the right) in aqua green as well. The latest Boost technology is a great addition to the Barricade family, as it adds more comfort to the durability that is synonymous with the tradition of the Barricade.
The adizone team of Fognini, Verdasco and Zverev will have equally colourful outfits, led by a hand-printed orange and yellow t-shirt paired with black board-style shorts. Always looking to push the boundaries of functionality and fashion, adidas will have its adizone team decked out in the latest white, grey and pink version of the Adizero Ubersonic.

The ladies of the adidas Tennis will look equally as sharp under the blazing Melbourne sun. Presented in an eye-catching stacked graphic, the adizero line is headlined by a 3 in 1 dress that will be worn by Ivanovic (pictured to the right). Being the only dress of it’s kind on the market, Ivanovic is set to look sensational on court once again.
Halep’s run to her maiden Grand Slam title will be aided by a functional pleaded skirt with tank combo. Both Ivanovic and Halep will sport the latest version of the Adizero Ubersonic in white with pink.
Wozniacki and Muguruza will compliment the sunshine in Australia with their premium and elegant Stella Barricade Group. Highlighted by the Spring Stella McCartney Tour Dress and the Spring Stella McCartney Jacket, each Stella Barricade outfit will be completed by the Stella Barricade in either Ultra Bright (orange) or white with bright gold.
