Mouratoglou has always had a vision of being able to help every player reach their potential, and today that vision has become a reality at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy.
Through their “Scholarships USA” program, the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy has successfully sent numerous players to the States on Scholarships in 2016 (list here), while providing them with the life experiences and the education necessary to succeed in the fast-paced-world of college tennis.
Here’s an example of how the MTA will assist a player in achieving a University Scholarship:
STEP 1

Placement in the United States: (An average of 85% of tuition covered)
Each year, more than 60 students are admitted through the MTA program with a scholarship to a University in the United States. The average annual cost of an American University is $35,000. MTA students receive scholarships that cover (on average) up to 85% of the total fees, which equals to approximately $29,800 per year.
The best Universities continue to showcase a very high standard of tennis, which is very close to the standard of the professional tour. It recent times the likes of James Blake, Robby Ginepri, John Isner, and Steve Johnson have reached the top 25 or better on that professional Tour after attending US Universities.
Scholarship Breakdown:
Each University team awards a certain number of scholarships to its players. Players with a higher level of play will have a much better chance of receiving a University placement. For instance, based on the French System, a player would need a minimum ranking of 15 to realistically expect a substantial scholarship at the time of leaving the Academy.
What Else do they Need to be Eligible for a Scholarship?
– A player needs to be 17 years old or older
– Obtain a High School degree with a minimum GPA of 10-12/20
– Complete the TOEFL and SAT
