Argentine Tomas Martin Etcheverry reached the semifinals of the 2025 Hamburg Open on Thursday, defeating Jiri Lehecka 7-5, 6-3.
Etcheverry will next face either Roberto Bautista Agut or Flavio Cobolli from Italy.
No. 3 seed Andrey Rublev and No. 6 seed Felix Auger Aliassime will be in action later today.
Top seed Alexander Zverev was ousted in the round of 16 by Alexandre Muller from France on Wednesday.

Thursday’s quarterfinal line up at the Geneva Open in Switzerland will feature top seed Taylor Fritz, No. 2 seed Novak Djokovic, No. 4 seed Karen Khachanov and No. 6 seed Hubert Hurkacz.
Djokovic, who hadn’t won a match on clay all season, defeated Marton Fucsovics from Hungry 6-2, 6-3 on Wednesday.
The 24-time Major winner will look to gain momentum as he aims to win his 25th career Grand Slam crown at the French Open next week.

Former Wimbledon winner Elena Rybakina reached the quarterfinals of the Strasbourg Open in France on Thursday, ousting Magda Linette 7-5, 6-3.
Having a modest year on Tour in terms of results, Rybakina will look to kick start her year with a victory this week. The Kazakhstani native will next face Beatriz Haddad Maia or No. 2 seed Emma Navvaro.
Top seed Jessica Pegula was defeated by Anna Kalinskaya 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 on Wednesday.

Grand Prix Sar La Princesse Lalla Meryem—Rabat, Morocco
Australian Maya Joint advanced to the semifinals in Rabat, Morocco on Thursday, dismissing No. 4 seed Ann Li 6-2, 6-1.
The 19-year-old, who is currently ranked No. 78 in the world, will next face country woman Alja Tomljanovic for a place in the finals.
Tomljanovic defeated No. 10 seed Jessica Bouzas Maneiro to reach the final four 6-1, 6-3.
No. 2 seed Camila Osorio and Romanian star Jaqueline Christian will be in action later today.
