Djokovic Wins 100th Career Title at 2025 Geneva Open

Serbian legend Novak Djokovic won his 100th career title on Saturday at the Geneva Open in Switzerland, defeating No. 6 seed Hubert Hurkacz 5-7, 7-6(2), 7-6(2).
Needing three hours and five minutes to seal his victory, Djokovic used his sublime serving and great return game to offset his towering opponent.
Striking 34 wins, six aces and breaking serve on one occasion, Djokovic won 86 percent of his first serve points.
The 38-year-old won his last Tour at the ATP Tour Finals in November 2023. He did of course complete his tennis resume at the Olympic Games last Summer, capturing a Gold Medal over Carlos Alcaraz.
Djokovic will now head to Roland Garros in search of his fourth career title. He will face Mackenzie McDonald from the United States as the No. 6 seed.
Hurkacz, who was aiming to win his ninth career title, will head to Roland Garros as the No. 30 seed. He will face Brazilian upstart Joao Fonseca in his opening match.

Bitpanda Hamburg Open—Hamburg, Germany
Flavio Cobolli continued his strong season on Tour on Saturday, capturing his second career title at the Hamburg Open.
Defeating former winner and No. 3 seed Andrey Rublev 6-2, 6-4, Cobolli hit two aces, 25 winners, broke serve on four occasions and won 56 percent of his first serve points.
The Italian will move up to No. 24 in the world on Monday. A new career high.
Rublev, who has been very erratic this season, failed to capture his 18th career title. The 27-year-old, who was once ranked as high as No. 5 in the world, currently stands at 15-11 on the season.

Internationaux de Strasbourg—France
No. 4 seed and former Wimbledon winner Elena Rybakina won her ninth career title on Saturday in Strasbourg, France, defeating No. 8 seed Liudmila Samsonova 6-1, 6-7(2), 6-1.
After breezing through the first set, Rybakina was made to work in the second set by her Russian opponent. Rybakina added 14 aces to her victory.
Needing one hour and two hours and 14 minutes to prevail, Rybakina will now head to the year’s second Major full of confidence.
The 25-year-old improved to 23-9 in 2025.
Samsonova, who owns five career titles, hit a career high ranking of No. 12 in the world. She will move up to No. 18 in the world when the latest rankings are released.

Grand Prix Sar La Princesse Lalla Meryem—Rabat, Morocco
Australian Maya Joint captured her first career title on Saturday in Rabat, Morocco, defeating Jaqueline Cristian from Romania 6-3, 6-2.
Needing 80 minutes to prevail, the 19-year-old hit two aces, won 64 percent of her first serve points and broke her opponent on five occasions.
With her victory, Joint will move up to No. 53 in the live rankings.
Cristian, who was looking to win her first career title, will move up to No. 60 in world on Monday.
