Former world No. 1 and defending champion Novak Djokovic reached the Wimbledon final on Friday after he disposed of home-country hero Cameron Norrie 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-3.
Needing two hours and 34 minutes to advance, Djokovic hit 13 aces, won 82 percent of his first serve points and broke serve on five occasions.
Improving to 2-0 against Norrie in lifetime meetings, Djokovic will next face powerful Australian Nick Kyrgios in Sunday’s final. Kyrgios advanced to the finals after two-time former winner Rafael Nadal was forced to withdraw with a a tear in his abdomen. Kyrgios leads Djokovic 2-0 in lifetime meetings.
