Week Two of the 2025 Tennis Season as Arrived
The second week of the ATP Tour and WTA season for 2025 season has arrived. The second week of the year will feature Tour events in Adelaide and Auckland.

With only one week to go until the main draw of the 2025 Australian Open, all eyes will be on this week’s results as the world’s best players hone their skills for the year’s first Major.
Paul, Auger-Aliassime, Kokkinakis and Korda Play Adelaide
Known as one of the funnest events of the season, the Adelaide International has a reputation of bringing in strong fields ahead of the Australian Open.
With this year being no exception, look for the likes of Tommy Paul, Felix Auger-Aliassime, home-country favourite Thanasi Kokkinakis and talented American Sebastian Korda will round out the field.
Also look for defending champion Jiri Lehecka to be in attendance.
On the women’s side, look out for Wimbledon winner Barbora Krejcikova to lead the draw, alongside Wimbledon and French Open finalist Jasmine Paolini and US Open semifinalist Emma Navarro.
Auckland To Feature Tabilo and Shelton
Picking up his first-ever Tour title last year in Auckland, Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo will be eager to defend his title ahead of the Australian Open. The 27-year-old, who had a career year in 2024, will be joined in the 28-man draw by Ben Shelton, Gael Monfils, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.
Look for Shelton to bring his big serve and forehand to New Zealand as he hopes to build his ranking closer to the top 10 in the world.
