Every year in March, a major tennis event draws top players and fans to a renowned venue in the Coachella Valley. As one of the most prestigious tournaments on the calendar, the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California, consistently delivers an elite competition experience, blending world-class facilities with breathtaking surroundings.
The main stadium, one of the largest globally, hosts thrilling matches that showcase the sport’s highest level. With its exceptional atmosphere and player-favorite status, this tournament has repeatedly earned recognition as a standout event in the tennis world.
The Top Men in Attendance
Aiming for a three-peat in Indian Wells, Carlos Alcaraz returns to California in search of another Masters 1000 title.
The Spaniard, who is currently ranked No. 3 in the world, will have to fend off the likes of top seed Alexander Zverev, 24-time Major winner Novak Djokovic, and last year’s finalist Daniil Medvedev.
Other notable names in the 96-player field will include former winner Taylor Fritz, three Major finalist Casper Ruud and hard-hitting Russian Andrey Rublev.
This year’s event will take place from March 2nd – 16th and the Tennis Garden.
Sabalenka Back on American Soil
World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka returns to one of her favourite events in search of another Masters 1000 title. The reigning US Open winner will have to contest against a stacked field, which will include defending champion and two-time winner Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jasmine Paolini, Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys and Elena Rybakina.
Women’s and men’s first round action will begin on Wednesday March 5, 2025.
