Global fashion retailer UNIQLO has been named the Official LifeWear Partner of the upcoming Laver Cup 2021 tournament. As the global supplier, UNIQLO will provide uniforms for all on-site staff, including chair umpires, ballkids, and tournament operations staff. The Laver Cup will be held at TD Garden in Boston from September 24 to September 26.
UNIQLO’s sponsorship of the Laver Cup continues the brand’s deep commitment to the tennis world – the brand has previously struck long-term sponsorships with renowned athletes such as Roger Federer, Kei Nishikori, Shingo Kunieda and Gordon Reid, as well as being the title sponsor for the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour and sponsor of the ITF Wheelchair Tennis Rankings. “We are pleased to help take tennis to new heights through our partnership with the Laver Cup,” said Tadashi Yanai, President and CEO of Fast Retailing. “The Laver Cup has quickly established itself as one of the most sought-after events on the tennis calendar. It takes a great team effort to host an event such as this, and we look forward to providing our LifeWear apparel to the on-court and off-court staff who all play important roles to make it possible.”
