Australian Nick Kyrgios captured his fourth career title in Brisbane, Australia on Sunday, defeating American Ryan Harrison 6-4, 6-2.
In a match that lasted one hour and 13 minutes, Kyrgios crushed 17 aces, broke serve on three occasions and never lost his own delivery. Improving to 3-0 against Harrison in lifetime meetings, Kyrgios won his first title since taking the crown at the Japan Open in 2016. Coming back from a set down in his first three matches of the tournament, Kyrgios will now shift his focus to his hometown Major at the Australia Open.
Harrison, who was attempting to win his second career title, defeated Australian upstart Alex de Minaur in the semifinals.
