We’re all set to begin another season of action under the Australian sun, providing a chance at Grand Slam glory for the team at Nike Tennis.
Creating some of the most outgoing styles and tech-based goods for their tennis line in recent years, the Spring 2015 collection is no exception. Whether you’re a Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Grigor Dimitrov or Juan Martin del Potro fan, the latest line from Nike Tennis will have you standing out on court.
Beginning with the man with four titles in Australia, Federer will look to continue his form from a successful 2014 when he debuts the RF Premier Crew in volt with light green spark. This functional top features mesh panels on the side and back as well as new shoulder seams to enhance better range of motion. The Swiss great will complete his outfit with the Spring RF Gladiator Premier 7″ Short in dove grey with white and the Spring Premier RF Jacket in white with volt and black. Fans of the Teach Fleece line will love this jacket. Finally, Federer’s shoe of choice in Rod Laver Arena will be the Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour in volt, black and white.
Returning to action after a frustrating year full of injury and illness, Nadal is poised to recreate the magic that won him the event in 2009. Stepping up his court presence in the Challenger Premier Rafa Crew (pictured above) in pink pow and volt, Nadal’s standout top will be matched with the Rafa Gladiator Premier 7″ Short in white with pink pow and black. Rafa’s warm up jacket Down Under will be the stylish Tech Fleece Spring Premier Rafa Jacket in wolf grey with cyber and black and his more ventilated and durable Lunar Ballistec 1.5 will be featured in white, classic charcoal and volt. The Lunar Ballistec still provides the same great feel as its predecessor, but offers a more glove like fit and more durable upper. (This shoe still fits half a size big. It’s recommended that players go down half a size).
Looking to establish himself as a staple in the top 10 for the foreseeable future, Dimitrov will look his best when he unveils his latest kit. Highlighted by the Spring Challenger Printed Crew in white and black, Dimitrov’s shorts in Melbourne will be the Spring Gladiator Short in black with white. Dimitrov’s footwork will continue to be amplified in the Vapor 9.5 Tour in black and red.
Former US Open winner Juan Martin del Potro and the Australian trio of Nick Kygrios, Thanasi Kokkinakis and Bernard Tomic will also be outfitted in the all-new 2015 Spring collection from Nike Tennis. (del Potro and Kygrios are slated to debut the totally redesigned Zoom Cage 2).
