Last year’s US Open saw the return (if you could call it that) of Novak Djokovic to top form. After winning Wimbledon just a month before, Djokovic was in sublime form at the US Open, defeating Juan Martin del Potro in the final. It was the Serbian’s third US Open and 15th Grand Slam overall, and he deservedly topped the ATP rankings list after it.
Djokovic was the betting favorite last year, and it isn’t any different this year. Bookies have put him in the driving seat for the upcoming US Open and it’s no surprise at all. Djokovic is playing at a high level once again this season, winning a record 7th Australian Open. He fell to Thiem at the French Open but is expected to make a deep run at Wimbledon.

As expected, Roger Federer comes next after him, with Rafael Nadal trailing close behind. Federer’s odds to win the US Open are 11/2 and look quite good to us. Federer hasn’t won the US Open since 2008 and is in the twilight of his brilliant career, so he’ll surely give his best effort.
Rafael Nadal
Even though hard surfaces aren’t his forte, the King of Clay is not a player to be underestimated. Nadal already has 3 titles at the US Open, winning the last one in 2017. His odds of 4/1 offer solid value for many bettors who are sure that Djokovic won’t repeat last year’s success.
A fierce competitor that fights to the last breath, the Spanish tennis legend will surely like to win another US Open and move a Grand Slam title closer to Federer’s record.
