Australian Open 2021 Preview Day 11: Was Novak Djokovic really injured?

Tennis remains one of the most popular sports today. Like other sports, people bet for either pleasure or to get more money. Despite betting, everyone knows that tennis is an exciting sport to watch. Many people know more about betting on soccer games and not much about betting on tennis games. There are so many soccer betting sites than tennis betting sites. There are some sites like Betfair sportsbook that offer deals on tennis betting. If you want to bet on tennis games, knowing good players is highly essential. You wouldn’t bet on players when you are clueless about the players and the game of tennis.

Being ignorant about the players and their capacities means your chance of winning the bet is lower than it would have been. There is no surety that you would win the bet after knowing the best tennis players, but at least, it would give you an edge while wagering. There are many things to consider when thinking of the greatest tennis player of all time, according to Sportsbook Software.

Greatest tennis player of all time

  1. Roger Federer: He is a professional tennis player from Switzerland. Previously, precisely in 2004, he ranked as number one tennis player. In 2021, he ranked number 16 tennis player. Early in his tennis career, he had an unbeatable reputation in tennis, especially in the 2010s. Throughout Federer’s career, he has won 103 titles, including titles from major tennis tournaments. There are times when he got to the finals but didn’t win the title. He has been brought to the finals eleven times without winning.

The truth is for a player in a sport to get to the finals; it means that the player is good at the game. So although he might have lost eleven times, it doesn’t make him short of being great at tennis. He also has a record of twenty notable titles out of his 103 won titles.

  1. Rafael Nadal: Rafael Nadal is a professional tennis player from Spain with a record of winning twenty major titles and sixty-eight notable titles. Throughout his career, he has won eighty-eight titles. Rafael is just like other professional tennis players; there are times he has gotten close to the finals without winning.

No one wins all the time throughout life. He has come called to the finals eight times without winning the title. He ranked number one in the association of tennis professionals in 2008. Right now, he ranks number six.

  1. Novak Djokovic: Djokovic has risen to starlight in tennis these years, as he consistently wins titles. He rose to stardom after winning Nadal and Federer in the golden slam in 2008. Ever since then, his career in Tennis only went up. He has a record of winning twenty grand slams, jJust like Nadal and Federer.

He has a history of winning eighty-six titles throughout his career. From 2011, he ranked number one in the associate of tennis professionals. In total, he ranked number one seven times, beating Federer’s record. He was the president of the player council of the association of tennis professionals from 2016-2020.

Conclusion

Depending on what you are looking for, these three players have ranked higher than other professional players. However, according to the records, Novak Djokovic has topped the other two players because of his win last year. This win makes him the greatest tennis player of all time. Federer follows closely behind him before Rafael. These three are indeed the greatest.
