There are all sorts of sports that you can wager on, but tennis is often the go-to option for many wagerers. The is one of the few individual sports (besides boxing) that has a massive following. Hence, it is usually the second-most popular option for online wagering, right after football.
?
If you decide to visit your favorite online bookmaker, you will notice that there are all sorts of tennis tournaments you can wager on. Some of them are great and offer loads of wagering opportunities, whereas others are not that good, which is why you should probably avoid them.

Unless you follow this sport up close, you probably won’t know which tournament to wager on. Therefore, we’ve decided to list all of the tennis tournaments that are worth it.
?
Australian Open

The first tournament that we think should be on your list is the Australian Open. This event is a part of the Grand Slam and usually includes every top tennis player in the world. Needless to say, this makes it one of the best wagering options.
?
Even if you are not into tennis, you should still check the Australian Open because there will be various surprises. You can even read this tennis guide explaining how to wager with better chances and take advantage of the different tips.

Wimbledon

Wimbledon is the oldest and probably the most famous tennis tournament in the world. Even those that don’t like this sport have heard of it. In fact, Wimbledon is often regarded as the most prestigious event as well.
?
What makes this tournament really cool is that it’s played on grass. Wimbledon always takes place in London, so you can expect to find all sorts of exclusive promotions and exceptional odds on most bookmakers.

Roland-Garros

Another noteworthy event is, of course, Roland-Garros. Also known as the French Open, this is the tournament where Rafael Nadal usually has little to no competition. Roland-Garros takes place in Paris, and it is a part of the Grand Slam, which makes it one of the most important tournaments of the year.
?
Before you check the available matches, go to the promo section of your preferred bookmaker and see whether there are any exclusive promotions you can take advantage of.

Indian Wells

The next event on our list is Indian Wells Masters (also known as BNP Paribas Open). Even though this tournament is not a part of the Grand Slam, it usually features every notable male and female tennis player.

One of the things that this event is mostly famous for is the controversy around Venus and Serena Williams. As you know, they are two of the most successful USA tennis players, but both of them refused to take part in this event between 2001 and 2014. The reason behind their decision was the “booing” of the crowd back in 2001 when Venus had to play against Serena. Due to an injury, she had to withdraw, which led the public to think that the match was fixed.
