Tennis and Esports Have a Lot in Common: Here’s What

Just like tennis, esports requires a lot of commitment on the part of a team or individuals. Find out how these two activities are very similar.

What Tennis and Esports Have in Common?

Tennis and competitive video gaming may seem like two diametrically opposed phenomena, but are they really? Today we take a look at the clear similarities between them and why they matter in the big picture. Tennis is a game of athletic prowess, but successful video gamers have the same mindsets and qualities as professional tennis players.

You could visit http://casinobonusesfinder.ca to find a great bonus and play for fun, but there are people out there who are determined to win, even if it’s a video game. To get to the point where they can really win most of the time, though, they need to demonstrate unflagging commitment.

As Tony Sloterman, the product owner of Casino Bonuses Finder, says, gaming can be fun when played at the highest competitive level. Well, the same applies to tennis, and we take a closer look at the similarities between the two activities!

The Determination to Win

With prize pools as big as $40 million, you can rest assured that video gamers are absolutely determined to win. They are willing to go on 10-hour gaming marathons that require their utmost concentration against opponents who are equally well-trained and capable of executing powerful strategies.

Just like Djokovic or Nadal would not give up easily after the first set, you can also expect esports players to have a steely determination that deserves admiration. The first Dota 2 International event was played over the course of 13 games for the runner-ups who had to make it to the finals and then face the last team in a Best of 7 Series.

Tennis also has no time limits, and to really make it, you need to be really committed to the sport.

Having to Rely on Yourself

Tennis players have nothing but themselves to rely on. Esports players are often self-made as they have to overcome a great deal of negativity and skepticism. Then again, these video games are filled with thousands of talented players who are not necessarily trying to be professionals but have the talent and potential, and it shows.

Overcoming those mid-tiers of one’s career development – be that in tennis or esports – is definitely something to admire. Such determination inspires others to follow and provide us with proof that esports players must never be underestimated as they do have all that it takes to be at the top of their field of expertise.

Rigorous Training Regimes

Do you want to be at the top in tennis or video gaming? In this case, to get there, you must show unflagging commitment to your training regime. Whether you are gaming or doing exercises to improve your overall fitness, you will have to keep to a certain schedule. Most successful people make sure to follow a steely regime that will take them through all the motions and help them achieve and internalize the core skills they would need to succeed. But success is predicated on your dedication to achieving the results you expect and want to see.

If someone is playing in multi-million dollar tournaments (video games or tennis), you can rest assured that this is an individual who can allocate the necessary time to develop a set of skills that would probably be used in the future – it only matters how many tries there’re.
