The time has come for the year’s final Major from Flushing Meadows, New York. The 2024 edition of the US Open will be held in Flushing Meadows, New York from August 19 – September 8, 2024.

Known for its high intensity, the US Open feeds off of the daily sold-out crowds that witness some of the most memorable matches of the season.

This US Open in particular will be interesting as Olympic Gold Medal winner Novak Djokovic will be back in action after his career defining moment in Paris, France.

With nothing left to prove in the sport, the Serbian great will enter NYC fresh and ready to bid for his 25th career Major.

Joining Djokovic in the field will be French Open and Wimbledon winner Carlos Alcaraz. The Spaniard won his maiden Major in New York and will be equally as favoured as Djokovic to win the title.

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner, who won the Australian Open earlier this year, will be looking to show that he is in fact the best hard-court player in the world.

Other players to watch out for in New York this year will be Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev and Andrey Rublev.

On the women’s side, former  winner Iga Swiatek will returns with her 6th career Major on her mind. The Polish great will have to fend off the likes of two-time Australian Open winner Aryna Sabalenka and recent Olympic Gold medal winner Qinwen Zheng.

Other players of note to watch out for on the women’s side include Naomi Osaka, Elena Rybakina and Jasmine Paolini.
