Defending champion Novak Djokovic withdrew from the event with a knee injury after qualifying.
Djokovic, a six-time winner of the Tour Finale, has not captured a Tour title in 2024. Apart from completing his trophy collection at the Olympic Games in Paris with a Gold Medal, Djokovic (for his standards) has had a subpar season.
The 37-year-old will look to regroup and be ready for the 2025 Australian Open in Melbourne.
The undefeated winner of this year’s event will collect 1500 ranking points. With the richest pot of the season at $15,250,000 USD, there will be extra motivation from all angles for the elite eight to play their best tennis.
Other former winners in the field include Medvedev and Zverev. Medvedev is a former US Open champion and Zverev has made the finals of the two Majors. Most recently at the French Open this year (l. Alcaraz).
Taking place over eight days from November 10-17, 2024, the ATP Finals continue to remain the crowning jewel of the ATP Tour.
The winner in Turin in 2024 will have without question earned the title.
