US Open—Flushing Meadows, New York
Thursday’s second round matches at the US Open featured Jannik Sinner, Madison Keys and Grigor Dimitrov all advancing to the third round.
Former semifinalist Grigor Dimitrov needed three easy sets to oust former winner Andy Murray. Dimitrov, who is continuing to rebuild his ranking after dipping in the rankings, will next face Alexander Zverev for a place in round four.

Other men’s results on the day saw Jack Draper, No. 13 seed Alex de Minaur and Arthur Rinderknech all progressing to the round of 32.
Former top 10 player John Isner played the final match of his career, losing to countryman Michael Mmoh in five sets.
