Reviewing the Yonex VCORE PRO 97H 330 Racquet for 2021

The racket of choice for three Major winner Stan Wawrinka, the all-new Yonex VCORE PRO 97H 330 is built for serious players that are looking to club the ball from the back of the court.

Featured in an eye-catching green, black and purple colour pallet, the VCORE PRO 97H 330 takes over for the VCORE 97 Pro (2019), while upholding many of the great characteristics of this line. For this iteration of the VCORE 97, Yonex modified the shaft geometry of the frame to help the racquet bend more effectively during impact points.

With a strung weight of 12.3 ounces and a very flexible stiffness index of 61, this arm-friendly racquet will work great for the advanced to tournament level player.

For this iteration, Yonex also added a slightly thicker beam for extra stability and pop at contact. Adding 2G-NAMD (for extra flex to the graphite setup), Yonex has provided some more natural power to this control oriented model. Flex Fuse technology has also been placed on the VCORE PRO 97H 330 for additional comfort on a variety of different shots.

Strung up with the ever-popular Yonex Poly Tour Strike (Denis Shapovalov’s string), the VCORE PRO 97H 330 was equally as impressive on first and second serves as it was on baseline exchanges.

Built on the heavier side of racquets, the VCORE PRO 97H 330 won’t be the frame of choice for beginner to intermediate levels.

All in all, if you’re able to generate your own power, the VCORE PRO 97H 330 is one of the best choices on the market for you this Winter and upcoming Spring season.
