No. 2 seed Kei Nishikori captured the 10th title of his career on Sunday, defeating John Isner 4-6 6-4, 6-4 in Washington, D.C. Fighting off 18 aces, Nishikori broke serve on two occasions during the one hour and 55 minute encounter. With his victory, Nishikori tied his head-to-head record with Isner at one match each. Both Nishikori and Isner will next play at the Rogers Cup in Montreal, which begins on Monday.
