National Bank Open 2025: Schedule of Play for Saturday July 26 in Toronto and Montreal

The 2025 National Bank Open presented by Rogers returns from July 26 to August 7, bringing world-class tennis to Toronto and Montreal with an upgraded 12-day format. This year’s men’s field in Toronto includes ATP Tour stars like Taylor Fritz and Daniil Medvedev, while the WTA event in Montreal features elite talent such as Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, and home favourites Leylah Fernandez and Bianca Andreescu. As a premier stop on both the ATP Tour Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 calendars, the National Bank Open will deliver top-tier matches, exciting fan activations, and a packed schedule from the first qualifying round to championship night.

The 2025 National Bank Open presented by Rogers will run from July 26 to August 7 in Toronto (ATP Tour Masters 1000 men’s draw) and Montreal (WTA 1000 women’s draw). It’s the first year of the expanded 12 day, 96 player format for both tournaments.

July 26 – Qualifying Saturday

  • Time: From 11:00 a.m. (local time)

  • Format: Single-day qualifying with 32 players competing for main-draw spots

  • Venues: Sobeys Stadium (Toronto) and IGA Stadium (Montreal)

  • Details: Part of Family Weekend – free admissions for kids and discounted passes, interactive zones, kids’ football game and entertainment.

July 27 – Opening Round Sunday

  • Day Session: Start 11:00 a.m.

  • Evening Session: Toronto from 6:30 p.m.; Montreal from 7:00 p.m.

  • Matches: First round begins for both ATP Tour and WTA draws, including the 32 seeded players receiving byes

  • Highlights: Opening Night ceremonies, Raptors Court celebration in Toronto, tennis legends and future stars on show.

July 28–30 – First through Third Rounds

  • Daily format

    • Day sessions: from 11:00 a.m.

    • Evening sessions: same times as July 27

  • Rounds Covered:

    • July 28: continued First Round

    • July 29–30: Second Round action displays ATP Tour and WTA stars

    • July 31 (Thursday): Third Round begins 

    • Friday, August 1: Third Round concludes

  • Themed Days:

    • Community Day (July 28)

    • Rogers First Set Day (July 29)

    • National Bank Day (July 31) 

August 2–3 – Round of 16 Weekend (Tennis FEST)

  • Two-day Round of 16 across Toronto & Montreal

  • Sessions:

    • August 2 (Saturday): Day + Night

    • August 3 (Sunday): Day + Night

  • On-site vibe: Tennis FEST – live music, interactive booths, vintage tennis fun (Retro Night), and gourmet experiences.

August 4–7 – Championship Week

  • Must-See Sessions in Centre Courts Only – All Evening

    • August 4–5 (Mon–Tue): Quarterfinal evenings

    • August 6 (Wed): Semifinal evening

    • August 7 (Thu): Finals night for singles and doubles 

  • Additional Highlights:

    • Evening concerts, sponsor activations (Psycho Bunny, Emirates, Audi)

    • UNMATCHED Gender Equity Conference on August 5 in Toronto and August 6 in Montreal 

    • Montreal hosts an on-site after-party post-finals
