Daniil Medvedev continued his fantastic season on Tour on Sunday in St. Petersburg, Russia, defeating Borna Coric 6-3, 6-1 to win his third title of the year.
Reaching five straight finals, Medvedev needed one hour and 12 minutes to dismiss his Croatian opponent in comfortable fashion. Striking seven aces, winning 78 percent of his first serve points and breaking serve on four occasions, Medvedev never faced a break point during the contest.
Claiming titles earlier this year in Sofia, Bulgaria and Cincinnati, Ohio, Medvedev recently lost to Rafael Nadal in five sets during the US Open final. The Russian is currently ranked No. 4 in the world.
Coric, who was searching for his third career title, is currently ranked No. 15 in the world.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga won his 19th career title in Metz, France on Sunday, dismissing Aljaz Bedene 6-7(4), 7-6(4), 6-3.
Needing two hours and 47 minutes to win the crown, Tsonga used his powerful serve and experience to upend his consistent opponent.
Previously winning the title on three occasions in Metz, Tsonga is currently ranked No. 61 in the world.
Bedene, who was attempting to win his maiden Tour title, is currently ranked No. 76 on the ATP Tour.
