UTR Powered by Oracle Database Expands to Include Chinese Player Results
April 16, 2018 – Universal Tennis today announced a partnership with Love Sports, the premier digital, event, and social platform for tennis in China, that will bring the Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) Powered by Oracle system to China for the first time.
Starting today, Love Sports will work with Universal Tennis to allow results from sanctioned Chinese events to be included in UTR Powered by Oracle’s database, which has more than 6.5M match results from 700,000+ players across 200 countries and is growing daily.
All Chinese tennis players participating in events whose results are submitted to Universal Tennis by Love Sports will be able to compare themselves to players around the world via UTR Powered by Oracle’s rating system, search players and track their progress. Tennis event organizers in China can run UTR Powered Events to facilitate level-based play and can post and submit results through Love Sports for inclusion in the UTR Powered by Oracle system.
