FILA to Debut New Tennis Collections in Paris

Men’s Legend, Women’s Heritage Collections and the Axilus 2 Energized

FILA Global – FILA will debut two stunning new tennis collections on the clay courts of Paris. The men’s Legend and women’s Heritage collections, which feature modern twists on classic FILA tennis styles, will be worn by top sponsored athletes Marin Cilic, John Isner, Sam Querrey, Karolina Pliskova and Kiki Bertens. These collections, along with new colorways of FILA’s top performance tennis shoe, the Axilus 2 Energized, will be unveiled in Paris.

Men’s Legend Collection

Inspired by tennis greats, the FILA men’s Legend Collection features eye-popping gray-on-lime green space dye hues on cutting-edge performance poly interlock and heather mesh fabrication with sweat-wicking and anti-odor technology for maximum performance and style. The Legend Stripe Polo and Legend Crew both feature the double-faced heather mesh; while the Legend Short incorporates an advanced, new woven stretch fabrication. The Legend Colorblocked Crew offers a refreshing color pop of lime green on ebony; and cooling mesh panels allow for maximum comfort on all three shirts in the collection.

Women’s Heritage Collection

The women’s Heritage collection offers an exciting array of functional pieces including a stunning drop waist polo dress; a crisp A-line skort with playful back pleats; a flattering crossback cami with bust ruching; a racerback tank paired with a lightweight, colorblocked skort; a casual, comfortable short; and a Heritage dress featuring striped rib trim at the neck and arms for an elegant yet modern look. A sleeveless tank, short sleeve top, and traditional polo round out the striking collection.

Heritage draws inspiration from FILA’s legendary archives in Italy, utilizing the brand’s classic hues of red, navy and white accentuated by the addition of a bold electric blue. Past and present blend seamlessly in traditional silhouettes enhanced with modernized fits and stylistic elements. The Heritage jacket – offered in white and electric blue – and a classic navy blue pant with bottom snaps complete the stylish ensemble. Each Heritage collection piece features SPF 50 sun protection, premium plus stretch jersey and moisture wicking technology.

Axilus 2 Energized

The newest colorways of the Axilus 2 Energized, FILA’s popular performance tennis shoe, were designed especially to complement the on-court style of Legend and Heritage apparel collections. ATP Tour players will sport the ebony/lime green/white colorway, while WTA players will wear the nautical blue/blue curacao/white style. The Axilus 2 Energized has carried numerous FILA sponsored tennis athletes through outstanding starts to the 2019 season, including a combined 12 singles and doubles titles on the WTA and ATP Tours.
