FILA Global – FILA’s sponsored athletes will wear the Match Play, Lawn, Core and Fundamentals Collections in London.
Women’s Match Play Collection
Grand Slam Champion Ashleigh Barty and Grand Slam Doubles Champion Timea Babos will step onto the grass courts in London wearing the Match Play Collection, which seamlessly blends signature all-white styles with a playful, eye-catching orange color pop and FILA’s silver cut-out F-Box logo.
Match Play offers two sleeveless top options, including the Racerback Tank with sporty, over-sized mesh overlays on the sides and back, outlined with contrasting orange piping that elevates both the style and performance of one of the Collections’s signature pieces. The Full Coverage Tank incorporates the same mesh concept on the front and back yoke, and a flat knit rib at the armhole with contrast color tipping. The V-Neck top incorporates the Collection’s signature piping and mesh overlays in a more conservative, traditional style. Each top pairs with the Match Play skort, featuring COOLMAX CORE technology, a playful mesh overlay at the bottom flounce, and embellished with the orange pop piping at front seams. The Match Play Dress rounds out the Collection.
Women’s Lawn Collection
The women’s Lawn Collection will debut on the grass courts of London, worn by FILA sponsored players such as Kiki Bertens and Sofia Kenin. This elegant, all-white collection features a stylish array of classic fashions, designed in timeless, graceful silhouettes and incorporating mini closed hole mesh to marry performance and style.
The Lawn Collection consists of three different sleeveless tops, including the Criss Cross Cami, which boasts an inside self-fabric bra and a mesh insert for added breathability beneath the bust; the Racerback Tank, which incorporates a back mesh panel for a clean, sporty profile; and the Sleeveless Polo, featuring a flat knit rib collar and mesh yoke on the front and back. The Collection also offers a Short Sleeve Top. To complement the tops, the line offers two skort styles, the Lawn Skort and the Lawn Long Skort, both of which offer COOLMAX CORE technology for enhanced comfort and breathability.
The Lawn Dress and Lawn Jacket round out the collection. The Lawn Dress features pleated mesh inserts at the hem for a timeless and elegant silhouette that is sure to stun, while the Lawn Jacket is a show-shopping element of the Collection that flatters with its back peplum panel and self-binding fabric collar and cuffs. All pieces in the Lawn Collection include FILA’s classic silver cut-out F-Box logo for a subtle yet glamorous metallic shimmer.
Men’s Core & Fundamentals Collections
John Isner, Marin Cilic, Diego Schwartzman and other FILA sponsored male athletes will be dressed in a range of Core and Fundamentals pieces on court in London, sporting a mix of high-quality, high-performance, timeless essentials. Made with moisture-wicking fabrics, the classic silhouettes found in the Core and Fundamentals collections provide an on-court look that is always in style.
FILA sponsored athletes will be playing in a number of these pieces including the Lightweight Woven Core short, the Colorblocked Crew and the Core Polo featuring Poly Interlock Textured Mesh fabrication. Matching warm-up jacket and pants round out this traditional on-court look.
All FILA sponsored athletes will wear a special make-up, all-white version of the Axilus 2 Energized on court in London. FILA’s newest performance tennis shoe has propelled the brand’s roster of sponsored players to unprecedented success so far in 2019, including the first Grand Slam singles title in Paris for World No. 2 Barty.
