Draper Wins Vienna Title; Zheng Captures Tokyo Crown
British No. 1 Jack Draper captured the biggest title of his young career on Sunday in Vienna, Austria, defeating inform Russian Karen Khachanov 6-4, 7-5.
Needing one hour and 35 minutes to prevail, Draper hit six aces, won 80 percent of his first serve points, broke serve on four occasions and hit 30 winners in total.
Improving his ranking to No. 15 on Monday, Draper will next see action at the Rolex Paris Masters in France.
Khachanov, who was attempting to win his second title in as many weeks, took him his seventh career title in Almaty, Kazakhstan last week.
The 28-year-old will be ranked No. 21 in the world when he latest rankings are released.
Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard Shines in Basel
Hard-serving Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard claimed his second title of the season at the Swiss Indoors in Basel in Switzerland, defeating American ace Ben Shelton 6-4, 7-6(4).
Mpetshi Perricard struck 22 aces during the one hour and 27 minute affair and hit 35 winners.
Shelton, who owns one title on the season, has one of the biggest serves in the game. The 22-year-old will had his work cut out for him as Mpetshi Perricard also showed that he has one of the most powerful serves in men’s tennis.
The 21-year-old has had a banner week in Basel, defeating Holger Rune, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov en-route to the title.
Mpetshi Perricard started the year ranked No. 205 in the world. He will be ranked No. 31 on Monday.

Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis—Tokyo, Japan
Olympic Gold Medal winner Qinwen Zheng captured the title in Tokyo, Japan on Sunday, defeating former US Open winner Sofia Kenin 7-6(5), 6-3.
In a match that lasted one hour and 52 minutes, Zheng hit 16 aces, won 93 percent of her first serve points and broke serve on one occasion.
Zheng, who is ranked No. 7 in the world, is 22-years-old. The Chinese star also notched her fourth career title.
Kenin, who entered the week ranked No. 155 in the world, will move up to No. 88 on Monday. The 25-year-old has been ranked as high as No. 4 in the world (March, 2020) and owns five career titles.
Danilovic Wins Guangzhou Open
Serbian star Olga Danilovic captured her second career title on Sunday in Guangzhou, China, dispatching Caroline Dolehide 6-3, 6-1.
Needing one hour and 15 minutes to prevail, Danilovic broke serve on five occasions during her straight-forward victory.
The 23-year-old will be ranked No. 52 on Monday.
Dolehide will move up to No. 82 as a result of her impressive week. The 26-year-old has been ranked as hight as No. 41 in the world in singles and No. 9 in the world in doubles.
