Draper Reaches Stuttgart Final
Talented Brit Jack Draper advanced to the finals of the BOSS OPEN on Saturday, dispatching Brandon Nakashima 6-3, 6-3.
Needing one hour and 12 minutes to advance, Draper hit 13 aces, broke serve on three occasions and hit 35 winners.
Draper will be competing in his third career final on Sunday. He will face two-time former winner Matteo Berrettini. The powerful Italian defeated countryman Lorenzo Musetti 6-4, 6-0 later in the day.
Berrettini, who possesses one of the most powerful serves in the world, reached the finals of Wimbledon in 2021.
Korda Advances to Libema Open Final
American Sebastian Korda advanced to the finals of the Libema Open in the Netherlands on Saturday, dismissing defending champion Tallon Griekspoor 6-2, 6-4.
Korda, whose game is tailor-made for grass-courts, will aim to win his second career title on Sunday against top seed Alex de Minaur. The No. 1 seed defeated No. 3 seed Ugo Humbert 7-6(4), 6-3.
Korda is currently ranked No. 26 in the world.
Andresscu Reaches Women’s Final
Former US Open winner Bianca Andresscu eased into the finals of the Libema Open Saturday afternoon, ousting Dalma Galfi 6-4, 6-2.
Needing one hour and 31 minutes to progress, Andresscu will next face other No. 2 seed Liudmila Samsonova or No. 3 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova.
Andresscu will be in search of her fifth career title on Sunday.
