Alexandr Dolgopolov, known around the tennis world as “The Dog”, and the Spanish brand Joma have signed a new sponsorship agreement that will see the brand “walk” with the Ukrainian player during the next three seasons.

Dolgopolov, ranked 24 in the Emirates ATP Rankings, was presented as the company’s new star recruit today in his home city of Kiev. Joma will fit him out with his own signature garments and shoes.

The Dog is delighted with the confidence that Joma has placed in him to be part of their growing professional team that already includes Marcel Granollers and Pablo Carreño.

Joma is excited about the new association with one of the tennis world’s most unique talents. The company has designed an exclusive collection for Alex to play on the ATP World Tour and for his Davis Cup commitments with the Ukrainian team.

“I am looking forward to this new and exciting association with Joma and I am really excited to have my own personal collection with my new logo on the clothing I will be wearing,” said Dolgopolov.

The Joma brand is recognized for its high quality using the latest technologies in sport.

The textiles used in “The Dog” Collection maintains the high quality standards that have made Joma a recognized brand on the world circuit. The collection he will wear on the ATP World Tour will be in lime green, blue and white and each piece will include the new logo that identifies “The Dog”. His Davis Cup collection will be in the national colours of Ukraine, yellow and blue.
