Top seed Novak Djokovic continued his stronghold of the men’s Tour on Sunday in Beijing, China, ousting former champion Rafael Nadal 6-2, 6-2 for the title. Winning his sixth crown at the event, Djokovic improved to 29-0 at the tournament throughout his career. Needing 91 minutes to complete his victory, Djokovic struck seven aces, won 82 percent of his first serve points and broke serve on five occasions. Capturing his eighth title of the year, Djokovic will now head to the Shanghai Rolex Masters to wrap up the Asian swing.

No. 1 seed Stan Wawrinka powered through good friend and Frenchman Benoit Paire at the Japan Open on Sunday, winning the fourth title of his season 6-2, 6-4. Needing only 65 minutes to claim his victory, Wawrinka broke serve on four occasions and won an impressive 70 percent of his second serve points. Improving to 5-1 against Paire in lifetime meetings, Wawrinka now stands with 11 career titles. Wawrinka will next see action at the Shanghai Rolex Masters, while Paire will take the week off with an Achilles injury.
