The 2025 ATP Tour and WTA looks to begin this week events at the United Cup, Brisbane, Hong Kong and Auckland.

United Cup Features 18 Teams in Perth and Sydney
Featuring 18 teams from around the world, this year’s United Cup will take place from Friday December 27, 2024 to Sunday January 5, 2025 and will be played in Perth and Sydney, Australia.
Recognized as the premier combined ATP Tour and WTA event of the year, the 2025 edition of the United Cup will be highlighted by the United States, Greece, China, Canada, Kazakhstan, Germany, Croatia, Spain, Brazil, Poland Italy, Great Britain, Czechia, France, Australia, Norway, Switzerland and Argentina.
Sabalenka Looks to Build in Brisbane; Kyrgios Returns
World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka will look to get her season started in style in 2025 when she takes the court in Brisbane, Australia.
The Belorussian won two Majors in 2024 and is without a doubt the best hard-court player in the world.
American Jessica Pegula, who reached the finals of the US Open, will join Sabalenka in the 500 level field.
Australian Nick Kyrgios returns to action in Brisbane after nearly two years off the circuit.
The hard-serving 29-year-old has been sidelined with a knee and wrist injury. Defending champion Grigor Dimitrov and former Paris Masters winner Holger Rune will also be featured in the field.
Grand Slam leader and 10-time Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic recently entered the field and will be begin his coaching partnership with Andy Murray.
Rublev to Defend Hong Kong; Osaka Featured in Auckland
A full week of action will conclude with Andrey Rublev defending his title in Hong Kong, China and four-time Major winner Naomi Osaka beginning her season in Auckland New Zealand.
Rublev will be looking to enter 2025 on a high note after experiencing mixed results last year.
Osaka will also be eager to return to the highest levels of the sport after giving birth to her daughter in 2023.
