ASICS Tennis US Open 2019 Shoe Review

Returning with an all-new line-up in time for the tennis in New York City, the team at ASICS is set to debut their latest Fall 2019 collection of footwear and styles for their top stars. Sponsoring the likes of Novak Djokovic, David Goffin, Gael Monfils, Julia Goerges, Jen Brady and Gael Monfils, the ASICS squad will be in fine form as they head into NYC.

ASICS Court FF 2:

A favorite for Novak Djokovic and David Goffin, the updated Court FF 2 adds even more comfort and stability to its predecessor the Court FF. Still featured with a booty-like fit, the Court FF 2 provides even more flexibility and slickness on the edges of the silhouette to allow those players that like sliding on hard-courts to do so freely. Weighing in at 14.7 ounces, the Court FF 2 is a tad heavy compared with other speed oriented shoes on the market, but the cushioning and comfort that it provides throughout the baseline and forecourt certainly did not result in that noticeable of a difference.

All in all, for a game-day shoe, the Court FF is right up there with any other model on the market.

ASICS Solution Speed FF:

Another favorite among rec to world-class professionals, the Solution Speed FF remains a low-to-the-ground game-day shoe that will not disappoint. The choice of recent Atlanta winner Alex de Minaur, the Solution Speed FF is featured in multiple colors for men and women and his highlighted by Flyte Foam cushioning for the ultimate lightweight cushioned experience. Previously known as the Solution Speed 3, the Solution Speed FF comes in with a much softer upper and a modified herringbone sole that will cooperate with any court surface. Weighing in at only 12.3 ounces, this shoe will have the fastest of players feeling extra quick on court.

ASICS Gel-Resolution 7:

Worn by the likes of Jen Brady and Gael Monfils, the Gel-Resolution 7 is another silhouette that is widely supported on Tour by the world’s best players. Providing a slightly more beefed up sole and cage, the Gel-Resolution 7 is perfect for players that are looking for a durable offering that features a six month warranty. Featured in an all-new white version, and koi with black color-way (for men) and white with laser pink color-way (for women), the Gel-Resolution 7 remains a top choice for the avid to recreational player looking for a heavier offering that features more durability.
