Patrick Mouratoglou has announced the Verrazzano Open, a 75,000 dollar ATP Challenger tournament, which will be held within the beautiful grounds of the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy.
Launched in collaboration with Guillaume Rambourg (the founder of Verrazzano Capital) and the support of the Tennis Ligue Côte d’Azur, the Open fills the void left by the ATP 250 Tournament of Nice.
The tournament held from the 3rd to the 9th April (qualifying rounds from the 1st to the 2nd April) will attract players ranked from the 50th to the 150th ATP ranking including a few high profile player as well as future promising talents of the circuit.
The 32 singles and 16 doubles players will benefit from the amazing Mouratoglou Academy infrastructures (which are superior to those of a regular Challenger tournament). They will be accomodated at the 4* Beachcomber French Riviera hotel, and will be able to use all the recovery machines (cryotherapy, recovery baths, hammam, fitness centre) of the Medical Center located on site.
Visitors will be surprised by the quality of the tennis as well as the scale of the project: premium services and infrastructures, private lodges, a VIP stand, a luxurious partner space, a fan village as well as large parking areas available. There is no doubt that the Verrazzano Open will delight sport fans from the region and beyond.
