Babolat and Wimbledon, a long-standing partnership serving the greatest sporting emotions
Babolat has maintained a loyal relationship with the London tournament since 2013. As the tournament’s official shoe, worn by ball kids during the fortnight, Babolat also provides the racquet service for all players. This involves not only stringing racquets but also “preparing” them according to each player’s specific requirements. The partnership also includes a complete collection of Wimbledon-branded tennis products (racquets, bags, shoes and accessories).
Babolat and Wimbledon have always been connected. Together, they continue to drive tennis forward, promoting innovation while maintaining absolute respect for traditions and ensuring they are passed on.

Babolat invented tennis string in 1875, just two years before the first edition of Wimbledon, the oldest and most prestigious tournament in the world. For over 150 years, Babolat and Wimbledon have been two global brands that inspire players and continuously cultivate excellence and prestige.
An official Babolat Wimbledon shoe, 100% designed for grass
Babolat is the official Wimbledon shoe, with a range dedicated to grass-court play, notably featuring a studded outsole designed by Michelin that combines durability and optimized grip on this demanding and unique surface. In addition to shoes, Babolat offers the tournament’s official racquet, accessories and bags. Some players from Team Babolat will also take to the court with the Pure Drive Wimbledon, the Wimbledon shoe (Cameron Norrie), and of course the official bag will be carried by players throughout the tournament.
Babolat, official racquet stringer and racquet preparation service for the Wimbledon tournament
Babolat is an official partner and stringer of Wimbledon, responsible for the racquet service across all draws (ATP, WTA, juniors, wheelchair), placing it at the heart of player performance. This racquet preparation service is provided by an international team of 20 to 25 professional stringers from Brazil, Japan, France and many other countries, working across three main sites (Aorangi, Raynes Park, Roehampton). More than 6,000 racquets are prepared and strung each year, up to 600 per day. Responsiveness, expertise and precision are at the core of the Babolat service at a tournament where weather conditions can vary greatly and players’ stringing needs can also change. Excellence is always guaranteed for the utmost comfort of champions.
For Éric Babolat, President of Babolat: “Babolat and Wimbledon, two pioneering brands, embody passion and their youth remains intact after more than a century and a half of history. This partnership is a tremendous recognition of our expertise, as inventors of the first tennis string. Having been won twice by Carlos Alcaraz, Wimbledon is also an important moment for our Babolat players currently competing on the various tours.”
The Pure Drive Wimbledon racquet and the Jet Mach 4 Wimbledon shoes are the flagship products of the 2026 edition
For Wimbledon 2026, Babolat is offering a complete collection (racquets, bags, shoes, accessories) in the tournament’s colors. Six racquets are being launched, including the Babolat Pure Drive Wimbledon 2026, featuring an exclusive design predominantly in white, the tournament’s historic color. With exceptional power, versatility, forgiveness, prestige and elegance, the Pure Drive 2026 is the ideal racquet to enhance the Wimbledon experience. Notably, three of the six racquets are specifically designed for juniors, allowing young talents to enjoy themselves and improve while identifying with Babolat champions. The brand is also presenting the Jet Mach 4 Wimbledon shoe, a premium model that offers speed and rhythm on court, as well as lightness and support. The Jet Mach 4 is equipped with “grass-specific” soles developed by Michelin (a historic partner of Babolat since 2002), providing players with grip and resistance.
