Mensik Defeats Defending Champion Eubanks in Mallorca
Top prospect Jakub Mensik continued to show his quality on the ATP Tour on Tuesday, defeating defending Mallorca winner Christoper Eubanks 6-3, 3-6, 6-1.
Needing one hour and 31 minutes to progress, Mensik struck 12 aces, won 84 percent of his first serve points and broke serve on three occasions.
Currently ranked No. 85 in the world, Mensik will next face Fabio Fognini for a place in the quarterfinals.
Other winners on the day included Sebastian Ofner, Alex Michelsen, Paul Jubb and Adam Walton.

Raducanu Blitzes Past Sloane Stephens
In a battle of former US Open winners, Emma Raducanu ousted American Sloane Stephens 6-4, 6-0 in one hour and 16 minutes.
Striking five aces, Raducanu improved to 2-0 against Stephens in lifetime meetings and will next face No. 2 seed Jessica Pegula for a quarterfinal birth.
Other players to advance on Tuesday included inform Katie Boulter, Ashlyn Krueger, Elise Mertens and Karolina Muchova.
Mouchova has been out of action for nearly 10 months with a wrist injury. She advanced to the second round after Elina Avanesyan retired trailing 1-3.
