Humbert Wins Antwerp Title; Zverev Captures Cologne Crown; Sabalenka Claims Ostrava Title

Ugo Humbert claimed his second title of the season on Sunday in Antwerp, Belgium, defeating No. 8 seed Alex de Minaur 6-1, 7-6(4). Needing one hour and 38 minutes to seal his title, Humbert hit four aces, won 74 percent of his first serve points and broke serve on two occasions.

Never facing his Australian opponent previously on Tour, Humbert improved to 21-11 in 2020.

De Minaur, who was attempting to win his fourth career title, defeated Grigor Dimitrov earlier in the event.

bett1HULKS Indoors—Cologne, Germany

Top seed Alexander Zverev claimed his second straight title in Cologne, Germany on Sunday, dismantling No. 2 seed Diego Schwartzman 6-2, 6-1.

Using his imposing serve and fierce backhand to great effect, Zverev struck nine aces, won 83 percent of his first serve points, and saved his lone break point.

Improving to 23-8 on the season, Zverev also tied his head-to-head with Schwartzman at two wins a piece.

Schwartzman, who has hit a rich vein of form lately, was attempting to win his fourth career title. The Argentine recently made the the finals of Roma Masters and the semifinals of the French Open.

J&T Banka OSTRAVA OPEN—Ostrava, Czech Republic

No. 3 seed Aryna Sabalenka capped off a sensational week of action in Ostrava, Czech Republic on Sunday, defeating countrywoman Victoria Azarenka 6-2, 6-2. Needing only 68 minutes to win her seventh career title, Sabalenka won 77 percent of her first serve points and broke Azarenka five times, while only losing her serve once. Improving to 24-10 in 2020, Sabalenka proved once again that her aggressive game-style was very well suited to indoor surfaces.

Azarenka, who ended her season with another strong result, recently won the event in Cincinnati and lost in the finals of the US Open to Naomi Osaka.
