Previewing the 2015 Babolat Propulse BPM All Court

The competitive and demanding world of tennis has never stopped Babolat from creating great tennis products. Staying inline with that philosophy has brought the popular French company toward its latest rendition in the Propulse series, the Propulse BPM All Court shoe.

Tournament players will know this shoe as a reliable and durable performance sneaker. Babolat has continued the trend in 2015 by enhancing the tread on the shoe, courtesy of the Michelin OCS2 outsole. With the rigors of professional tennis requiring accurate start and stop movement, the Propulse BPM All Court reacts great on all types of surfaces from hard-court to clay. The new TI-Fit last (Tennis Inside Fit) also provides superb stability for lateral to horizontal directional changes and extra comfort after landing from serves and overheads.

Users of the previous Propulse 4 will appreciate the carry over of the Foot Belt for added support. The velcro strap can also be fastened over the lace bed for added support. Other highlights of the Propulse BPM are a Cell Shield over the forefoot area to enhance breathability, as well as superb comfort in the heel region thanks to the Kompressor System.

The Propulse BPM does run half a size smaller than its predecessor, but weighs almost three ounces less than the Propulse 4 at 13.9 ounces. The shoe does provide a very low to the ground feel and will take some getting use to for those that like a more beefed up toe area. However, with no break-in period required, the Propulse BPM can be introduced into a big match scenario with complete confidence.

Retailing at $119.95 US, the Propulse BPM will be available in mid January for purchase at TennisWarehouse.com, MerchantofTennis.com and TennisWarehouse-Europe.com.

For the latest on all of Babolat’s products and news throughout 2015, make sure to follow them @Babolat.
