Cilic wins Moscow title; Berdych claims Stockholm crown; Murray beats Ferrer for Vienna trophy

US Open winner Marin Cilic captured his fourth title of 2014 on Sunday in Moscow, Russia, defeating Roberto Bautista Agut 6-4, 6-4. Hitting 10 aces, while breaking serve on two occasions, Cilic saved all six break points on his serve. The towering Croatian qualified for the ATP World Tour finals earlier this week.

Big-hitting Czech Tomas Berdych improved on his bid to qualify for the ATP World Tour Finals on Sunday after dispatching defending champion Grigor Dimitrov 5-7, 6-4, 6-4. Withstanding eight aces from Dimitrov, Berdych slammed 13 aces of his own during the pair’s fifth meeting. Gaining 250 ATP World Tour points for his victory, Berdych currently stands in seventh place on the road to London.

Erste Bank Open, Vienna, Austria

Andy Murray captured his second title in 2014 on Sunday in Vienna, Austria, defeating top seed David Ferrer 5-7, 6-2, 7-5. Trailing 3-5 in the third set, Murray reeled off four straight to win his 30th career title. Standing in eighth place on the road to London, Murray will next see action at the Valencia Open in Spain next week. Ferrer currently stands at ninth place to qualify for the elite eight at the World Tour Finals.
