Top seed Novak Djokovic was in top form on Sunday at the China Open, defeating No. 3 seed Tomas Berdych 6-0, 6-2 for his fifth straight title. Holding a 6-0, 5-0 lead, Djokovic was two points away from claiming a double bagel victory. The Serb has not lost a match in Beijing since 2008. Djokovic will now head to Shanghai to defend his Masters 1000 title.

Hometown hero Kei Nishikori won his second career title at the Japan Open on Sunday, defeating powerful Canadian Milos Raonic 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-4. In a match that saw Raonic hammer 22 aces, it was ultimately Nishikori’s guile and baseline determination that saw him capture his fourth title of 2014. Nishikori, who has not lost a match since the US Open final, will next head to Shanghai for the Masters 1000 title there.
