American Andy Roddick captured his 31st Tour title on Saturday in Eastbourne, defeating defending champion Andreas Seppi 6-3, 6-2.
Winning a title on Tour for 12 straight years, Roddick snapped a six match losing streak by winning his first-round contest at the event. The 29-year-old Nebraska native received two retirement victories during his run, but reached a milestone by winning his 600th career match after the semifinals. Roddick moved up eight spots to No. 25 in the world with his efforts.

Top seed David Ferrer won his fourth title of 2012 on Saturday in Holland, dismissing qualifier Philipp Petzschner, 6-3, 6-4.
Pocketing titles on clay, hard-court and grass this year, Ferrer moved up to No. 5 in the world with his victory, as well as leading the ATP World Tour with 42 match wins.
The feisty Spaniard has now won 15 ATP World Tour titles during his 12-year-career.
