The Men’s and Women’s 2024 US Open Entry Lists Have Arrived

The 2024 US Open is set to begin on August 19 and will conclude on September 8th with the men’s final.

Known as the largest annually attended sporting event in the world, the US Open continues to be one of the most electric events in New York City.

Boasting a 128 men’s and women’s singles draw, this year’s tournament will feature the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Iga Switaek, Aryna Sabalenka, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Coco Gauff, Naomi Osaka and Jasmine Paolini.

Alcaraz Going for his Third Major in 2024

Recent Wimbledon and French Open winner Carlos Alcaraz will be bidding for his third straight Major of 2024. The 21-year-old has taken the tennis world by storm, and continues to rack up big titles on every surface. The Spaniard dismantled Djokovic in the Wimbledon final, and will be looking to repeat his form from 2022 when he won his maiden Grand Slam in New York.

Joining Alcaraz as a top favourite will be world No. 1 Jannik Sinner and 24-time Major winner Djokovic.

Sinner and Djokovic both have great pedigree on hard-courts and own numerous wins against Alcaraz.

Swiatek Looks to Rebound in New York

World No. 1 Iga Swiatek will look to rebound from her early exit on the lawns of London when she returns to her second favourite surface.

Winning the US Open in 2022, Swiatek now owns five Major titles.

The Polish star will be in prime shape for a deep run in NYC, but she will have a watchful eye on the likes of defending champion Gauff and two-time Australian Open winner Sabalenka.

Gauff completed a magical summer in 2023 by winning her first title in Queen’s, and Sabalenka remains a major threat on any hard-court surface.
